Fairest Of Dawn

I beheld, enraptured,

The scenery unfold,

Hand-in-hand with the dawn,

Green trees waving,

The sunrise pink and gold,

The chill of the night long gone,

The bees still craving,

For the first blossom to hold,

Some succulent nectar, and sweet honey,

But something sweeter than honey did I see,

How the dawn looked fair and free,

In all it’s grand majesty.
