The Dark Wild

The world is based; in my heart,
Is where I find solace,
And then with tear-bidden eyes,
Do I find a caring mother,
In the dark wild.
And even then, my soul,
Is submerged in constant unrest,
And I reach out for comfort,
To the dark wild.
And then to slowly peep in,
Is my peace of mind,
Round the corner,
I find that disappearing peace,
In the dark wild.
The tall trees shelter above,
The sorrowing world,
And not just me,
But many others in discomfort,
Go to the dark wild.
And the dark wild offers me solace.
